I was born and bred in London to an Egyptian father and Thai mother. I’m 38 years old and the eldest of five siblings.
For me, I feel blessed to have cultural influences from both the Middle East and the Far East. I was brought up in a loving and happy home but with a Muslim and Middle Eastern upbringing.
As you can imagine, there were drawbacks to this as a young girl growing up in London.
